A Little Blog
Wow, I haven't typed a new blog in nearly 14 days! Anyway, I have a good reason for my absence. I've been quite busy and under a lot of stress. This stress is magnified by the fact that I definitely have and have had symptoms of OCD. We haven't confirmed it but I'm pretty sure that I have this. It's kinda a pain of the butt to have. Any prayers would be helpful.

Anyway, my brother and I complied all of our 106 Star Wars figures and had a huge elimination match. We cut it down to the Top 54, Top 28, Top 14, and Top 8. The Top 8 are Qui-Gon, Plo Koon, the Sith Lord from the Secret Apprentice Set, Darth Bane, Darth Revan, Anakin, Jango, and Obi-Wan. UPDATE: 1st - Anakin 2nd - Sith Lord 3rd - Obi-Wan

BTW, Happy Father's Day to any fathers out there! It's a day late, but it's the thought that counts, right? My Dad is 43, pretty old. Heh-heh! Did you know that he's a twin? Yep.

Anyway, my cousins are coming over to the house today. They are huge Star Wars fans too!

Anyway, we have a lot of little things planned to do every day to keep summer from becoming boring. It's gotten pretty hot down here. Fortunately, it looks like we're going to be getting some rain soon. Maybe Iowa could send us some. It's amazing how one state can be flooding and another state can be really dry.

Well, now I'm really starting to ramble, if I rambled anymore I'd start talking politics, and we don't want that.

May the Force be with us all! God bless!

I'm curious as to how you "eliminated" all of those action figures. Garbage disposal? Chainsaw? Your puppy?

Awfully good ideas. But I did it the old fashioned way.....blow 'em up with a stick o' dynamite.

Absolutely, MM13

Thanks, I can always count on you.

Does that mean he's really 86? Or 21(and a half)?

Hi,
as someone who is a father and a very youthful 34, your dad doesn't sound soo old :D

Good to hear from you again, try not to worry about the OCD I know people who have it and have learned to manage it, I believe there's a little bit if OCD in us all, we can all feel safe doing the same things repeatedly. I mean look at the stooge a joke a day every day, I'll say no more.

I'm sure he'd choose 21(and a half).

Good point. Only thing is, it's a little more complex than doing the same routines over and over. Either way, I do believe that everyone has a little bit of it in them.

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Don't ever worry about lapses between blogs. Gee, I went 6 months between blogs! Just super busy!! But I thought of you all often! :)

Have a great, relaxing week. Enjoy Star Wars! (can it get any better than that?!)

Yes, I know what you mean. I, too, unfortunately, have a very complex form of OCD, similiar to the "symmetry" disorder, as it's called, but I've learned to live with it, and it's sort of going away on its own as I get older. I like to joke about it, and I try to be lighthearted, but sometimes, it does become stressful and disheartening. But, I'll definately pray for you. :)

Anyway....on a happier note...

Why didn't Qui-Gon win your elimination match?! ;

Well, take care, MM. I hope you had fun with your cousins. I know I always have a blast with mine, even though their older than me. (but they're kids at heart)

And what do you mean 43 is old? Qui-Gon was supposed to be 60! (but Liam Nesson's not 60 -- not yet, that is...)

I have to go get some work done on that pesky 50th blog. Any tips? I loved yours.

May the Force be with you,

Qui-Gon Reborn
