In honor of my 125th blog I'll write a little bit about me and my blog here. What? Conceited? How rude of you to even think so!
My place in the blogs:
In everyone's own mind they feel good about being a part of something, something they care about. When I think of my time on the blogs I have seen myself grow. Not only grow in friendships with bloggers here, but grow as a person. I go back to my first several blogs and remember in my mind the exact moment I wrote it, what I was thinking, feeling. I specificlly remember writing my first blog. I was at home with my dad. My mom and brother were at my grandparents house. I could have been there too, but I wanted to use my new Hyperspace account. Remember how I was talking about people's minds? Yeah, so, in my mind, I was pretty funny. So, I decided to write a joke and I especially remember the fear I had when I was about to submit it. Fear that I wouldn't be accepted into this elite world of Star Wars blogging. I'd been reading the blogs here for months before I'd joined and all of the people who wrote were good. I wanted to be like them.
The mind percieves things in funny ways. I'd been blogging for a while and none of my blogs had been anywhere near top-of-the-line quality. Until my 28th blog when I reached 50 comments. I'd always been a member of the blogs, but then I felt cool....you know what I mean? In my little mind I was cool. I felt like I really belonged, like a member.
I've met many fantastic people here on the blogs. It's like a little world...I mean, only 200 people in the world are on here....doesn't that make us an elite group? People who have never met before sharing their love for Star Wars here; we're all connected. I mean, even ten years from now I'll remember all of you, and I hope to see some of you IRL soon.
So now, as some bloggers have come and gone and still others remain; I feel like I'm part of a family. One world of Star Wars fans. I consider all of you my friends and I hope you all think of me as such too. But really, we're all just people, or are we legends of the blogging world?
May the Force be with us all! God bless!
And thank you for making my time here fantastic! I look forward to many more years of fun and laughter.
