Sigh. Having the flu is no fun at all. When I was younger I used to enjoy some sicknesses, seeing that I didn't have to do school. Now I'd just rather do school instead. Apparently I have given the flu to all of my family as well. I'll just say that I gave them an early birthday present. So, the past three days I have done, well, absolutely nothing. I took off work for Friday and Saturday and sat around watching way too much TV.

Watching so many cartoons really made me appreciate how well put together the new Clone Wars series is. Don't get me wrong, I love some mindless stupidity, but I also like to think. The Clone Wars does that. The show has that extra something that makes you try to predict what each character will do. And when my mind tries to guess everyone's next step I'm always surprised at the (mostly) unpredictable twists. The character chemistry is great. Anakin and Ahsoka seem to be bonding very well and I love the way Obi-Wan jokingly repremends Anakin. This show really emphasizes the fact that they were brothers. A problem many cartoon shows suffer from is bad writing. Not so in this show.

Anyway, since I predicted a Super Bowl winner last year (and I guessed correctly ) I suppose I will predict again. I respect the Pittsburgh Steelers. I mean, #1 defense and a great QB. However, I'm going to predict the Arizona Cardinals will win 41-34. I really like Kurt Warner. He's a great guy. Plus, if you've watched any of the previous playoff games you've surely seen the fantastic Wide Receiver he has in Larry Fitzgerald.

Wow, it has been about a month and a half since I've written a blog. (I really wish we could get some "Clone Wars" pictures for these blogs.)
