Star Wars : The Ultimate Story
I have been wondering for a while. Just what makes people love Star Wars. I mean, I haven't found one guy who has watched Star Wars and has said that it was crappy.

So what is it that keeps us comin' back for more? What is it that makes us want to watch the movies again and again instead of just once?

1. Action. Who doesn't like action? I like action. And Star Wars is jammed full of action.

2. The special effects are awesome. Well, the PT has good special effects. The OT is just OK.

3. The characters. What kid wouldn't love Darth Vader? I mean, these characters are the greatest.

4. This one has to be the reason that I love Star Wars. The storyline. I mean, some movies can have star actors, great special effects, and cool characters, but just be lame. I can't think of an example right off the top of my head.
But the storyline of Star wars has twists and foreshadowing. I can see all the little things that foreshadow main events, like Vader's fall. Even the music foreshadows. I just recently noticed that in Episode II Obi-Wan states that the Chancellor has a way of playing on peoples' passions. That's the way how Palpy turns Anakin.

Anyway, what keeps your love for Star Wars alive? the characters? the storyline? Let me know. Or if you just have thoughts, let me know.

I hope my blogs don't bore y'all. They haven't been very popular.

May the Force be with us all! God bless!

Usetheforce19, it's summer, and I think folks are just making the most of the pleasant weather, trying not to be too attached to their computers. . .

As far as what keeps SW alive for me? Well, I'd have to say it's the storyline, the way GL has intermingled mythology, adventure, interesting characters and a touch of the familiar. Yes, the special effects are awesome. The music is out of this world. Without a story with characters with whom we can identify, there really wouldn't be much of a reason to go back to see it time after time after time. (Of course, there is something to be said for all the little extras we find when we do watch one of the films for the umpteenth time!)

That's my take on "the reasons why".

What keeps me coming back? Besides Anakin :x

Oh...for me, it is also the storyline. There is so much more there than many give credit, especially critics and non-fans. Also, the way music incorporated into the films just invokes such emotion that, whenever I hear a certain piece I can "see" what's happening in the movie at that time and can "feel" the emotions.

Sigh...I know...

For me, aside from Qui-Gon :x, I believe that SW has something for everyone. That is why it is so eternal, because it is about looking inside yourself and becoming the best individual you can be.
