Hi everybody, it is I, MasterMonkey13. Today I come with a thought about the Empire and more specifically, Vader.
We all know that at the end of Episode III Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Bail Organa all decide on sending Luke and Leia to a place where the Empire will not sense their presence. But how dumb is Vader to not recognize them when he has the chance.
It is a wise idea to hide the twins but let's look at some facts. Tatooine is the homeworld of Anakin Skywalker now Darth Vader. Even if Vader never wishes to return home to Tatooine, how obvious is Tatooine going to be as a place to put Vader's own son. Of course Tatooine is in the Outer Rim but couldn't Vader feel something. If this doesn't convince you read on.
At the beginning of Episode IV when Vader captures Leia he treats her just as a bratty senator. I mean, come on Vader! can't you feel something?! I know that Vader thought he had only one child but couldn't he feel that this senator was his daughter?!
At the end of IV Vader feels Obi-Wan's presence abord the Death Star yets notices nothing about Luke. And even later when Vader pursues Luke in a fighter Vader says, "The Force is strong in this one," yet says nothing of Luke as being his son.
Even in V, Vader doesn't even know of his relation to Luke or Leia until Sidious finally says that Luke is Vader's son.
In conclusion, shouldn't Vader, master of the dark side, know who his children are by using the Force.
Anyway, that is my third blog, I hope y'all like it. Comment all you want, but please, no profanity.
May the Force be with us all! God bless!
