Well, we all know what happens, Anakin obeys Windu for a time and then rushes to Palpy's office because he has had time to think about Padme. Then when he gets in there, having no clue what he wants to do, he sees his only chance to save Padme about to be killed by a Jedi Master. So then Anakin rushes in and stops Mace with out even thinking of the consequenes.

But, what if Anakin went with mace to arrest the Chancellor. well, let's look at the facts. The reason Anakin rushed back to Palpy's office in the movie is because he has had time to think, about Padme. But if he goes with four Jedi to arrest Palpy, he will have a lot to deal with and no time to think.

And then, if Anakin goes to arrest the Chancellor, Palpatine will have to deal with Windu and have no chance to use his persuasive words to turn Anakin.

And, chances are, that if Anakin went with Mace, he, Anakin, would have probably fought against Sidious. Because at the time Mace goes off to confront the Chancellor, Anakin is pretty mad.

So, is Master Windu the reason that Anakin fell, would Anakin have had less time to think and actually fight Sidious if he went with Master Tinn, Koth, Fisto, and Windu? Or would it have made no difference at all?

I believe that Anakin going with Mace could have saved him, but he would have to go with mace, not join Mace.

But in the movie Anakin killed Mace to save padme, but this brings up another question, Did Anakin know in his nightmares about Padme, that she wouldn't die from childbirth, but by Anakin himself?

But now, referring to my quote, didn't Anakin want to be trusted, I mean, he even told Padme, "The Council doesn't trust me,"?
