Worst Things
Ahhhhh, after a nice long break from writing I feel refreshed and have stockpiled new ideas onto a notebook. Anyway, it's nice to be back writing blogs.

There is a quote in Jurassic Park III that goes something like this, "Some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions," It seems like we can find a lot of stuff like that happening in the real world. Back in the 60's when President Kennedy was assassinated, a killer was found, but before he confessed to the cops a man named Jack Ruby shot the killer in the head, and because of his actions we will never know for sure if Oswald killed Kennedy. And even now, conspiracy theories run wild.

Need more examples? I can't predict what you're saying but I'd guess that you're ready for some Star Wars! *starts to sing Monday Night Football song replacing football with Star Wars* Ahem, anyway.

As you can see from my picture I have Anakin and Padme. Well, Anakin had to make some choices in his life, right? And we all know that choices determine our lifestyle, right?

Anakin made some choices that we really wouldn't think of as wise at the time, but let's examine why he made those choices.

Anakin chooses to hide his and Padme's marrige from everyone, even when telling Obi-Wan would help them, why? This is a duh answer, because it would ruin thier lives.

Now that may seem simple but what about all of the things that Anakin did to the Republic and the Jedi? Why? The answer could be for more power, it could be because he was a Sith, or what I think, I think it was for Padme, Anakin destroyed the Republic for his wife who was a senator of the Republic. You see, Anakin didn't think that Padme might not like the fact that he destroyed the democracy that she was in just to save her life. And do you recall that Padme didn't even believe she was going to die, she didn't think that she needed saving, and she probably wouldn't have if Anakin hadn't intervened.

So, although Anakin's actions in Episode III may seem rash and selfish, he did it all for her, and she turned him down, she turned him down for good intentions and he destroyed the Republic with good intentions. But how must Anakin have felt when he did all of this to save her, and she doesn't even love him anymore. If you watch the movie you'll see tears in Anakin's eyes, tears mean more than words, but that's for another blog. After she turns him down Anakin is a broken man, and will remain as such until his son revives him.

Do you have any thoughts? If so I'd love to hear them.

No profanity.

May the Force be with us all! God bless!

Also, don't forget to pray for the family of Steve Irwin, the Crocidile Hunter, who died sometime yesterday I believe. click

THe quote is:

Billy: You have to believe me, this was a stupid decision but I did it with the best intentions.
Dr. Grant: With the best intentions? Some of the worst things imagianable have been done with the best intentions.

You are very right. This happens often and it does, regrettably, end up with a consiquence instead of reward. Good entry.:)

Yes, I agree with you. Anakin did have good intentions concerning Padme, but I also think his desire for power and control lurked somewhere in back in his mind at all times. When he fully gave in to Palps, I've often looked at it as a motion of complete helplessness concerning Padme- Anakin knew he was in too deep with her and this was the only way "out" for them. When Padme turns him down, he crumbles, just as you said, and all that's left is the lust for power surrounded by the evil shell Palpatine created, with his real self burried down there somewhere. Great blog! B-)

With the best intentions huh..well I guess you're right.

A pity poor Anakin could no longer see through the dark side that clouded his mind.

Interesting blog.

May the force be with you usetheforce19!

It's not that Padme didn't love Anakin anymore, it's that she would not follow him down the path he had chosen, nor could she condone what he had done. I think Anakin was broken before Padme rejected what he had become.
