Greetings
It would appear to me that when a Jedi dies they become Force ghost things, and we even see them in the OT. But even though we can see them, who else can?
In Episode VI Luke looks over on Endor to see the spirits of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin. Luke is obviously happy and so and I, I nod and wave to the spirits as I watch the movie. Luke and I can see them.
But, who else can, it would appear to me that Han, Leia, and the rest of the gang have no clue whatsoever that the Force ghosts of three Jedi are standing only yards away from them. Luke sees them but we never see Han or especially Leia wave to the spirits, or even acknowledge their existance.
So, this brings me to the question, who can see Force spirits?
After study, I have concluded that those who are one with the Force can be seen only by those in touch with the Force. But, here's the catch...
Leia. She can use the Force, and her Force sensitivity is not seen only in the EU, so it MUST be a fact. And yet she still doesn't see the Force ghosts on Episode VI. Perhaps she just wasn't looking that way, but Luke sure saw them.
It would seem to me that the idea that only Force users can see those in the Force, but perhaps a deeper meaning holds the truth.
So here is my question to you...Who can see the Force ghosts, and why?
No profanity.
May the Force be with us all! God bless!
