Anyway, today's person, or should I say group, are the Stormtroopers. It is said that they are the most feared soldiers around and are excellent aims and so on and so forth. But are they really that good? Let's find out.

In Episode IV we see Stormtroopers raid Tanitive IV and storm the place. Later on, after the Stormtroopers raid the Jawa sandcrawler we hear Kenobi say that the shots were too random for Tusken Raiders and that only Stormtroopers are that accurate. Now we see the Stormtroopers as fearless troops. Yet then at the Mos Eisley spaceport, old man Kenobi does a Jedi mind trick on several troopers and claims that mind tricks work only on those with weak minds and wills. And later, as our heroes board the Falcon, we see about six Stormtroopers, all with clear shots at Han, shoot multiple times and miss Han, who has no defense, every single time. Then Han blasts them all down.

So, are the Stormtroopers all that they're said they are, or are they WIMPS!?!?

For one more final piece of evidence that Stormtroopers aren't all that bright, we turn our attention to the Death Star. Luke and Leia are trapped on a narrow ledge with nothing but a huge chasm below them. Then, behold! from above three troopers have clear shots at our heroes and miss, EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!! What?!?!?!?! Can they not hit ANYTHING?! Then, Luke or Leia, I'm not sure which, blasts them all! And of course we all remember Stormtroopers being killed by teddy bears dropping rocks on thier heads.

Now I'm sure you're all asking, why. What I think is that Stormtroopers are victims. Victims because that in a movie, an average soldier can't kill the heroes, it's almost like an unwritten law and I support Lucas for following the law.

So in conclusiuon I think that Stormtroopers are pretty smart, but they're just horrible aims and that fact makes them look dumb. Feel free to comment as long as you don't use profanity. Keep and eye out for Part 3 on Friday.
