Exile................
After the rise of Darth Sidious to power and the fall of Skywalker, it seemed like the Jedi just gave up, gave up hope and willingness to keep on fighting. They all fled, and waited for a young boy on Tatooine to restore the Republic.
But why???? That's what I'm asking you, if Yoda and Obi-Wan gave up, why would
they leave the hope of the Republic and Jedi Order to Luke. The fact is that eventually Luke, without help from the Jedi, overthrew the Emperor. If a farm kid could do it, why not Yoda?
I'll examine Yoda first, he fought Dooku and saved the lives of two Jedi, he was master of the Council and in command of practically everything!!!!!! Is Yoda's giving up a sign that a moisture farmer's nephew is better than him?!?!?
Obi-Wan was a younger and powerful Jedi Master, he still had the agility and power to easily whoop the Empire with some help, but instead, he leaves the job to a young lad who has never heard of the Force.
The fact of the matter is that if all of the Jedi assulted the Death Star they
would have won. So why go into exile? Why let the Empire kill millions while you hide. The situation that the Jedi were in was worse than they had ever faced before, but why not go down fighting? Why not attack the Emipire at their weakest time? Why not?
So, I'm asking you, why did the Jedi Order go into exile, why didn't they fight? They could have easily kicked the Empire's backside! But instead they waited for a single Jedi, Luke. Was the Jedi Order truly weaker than Luke? Or were they just tired?
I'll leave it up to you, comments will be happily accepted. No profanity, thanks.
May the Force be with us all! God bless!
