Well, it's that time of year again, the hustling, bustling, and tearing through crowds in stores time. But there's one thing that slows that down, Thanksgiving.
A day in which most families sit around the table and tell stories, watch football, eat, and then complain about how much they ate. A time to relax and stop the holiday franticness.
But the most important thing is listed right in the name, giving thanks.
You see, the first Thanksgiving was in 1621 when the Pilgrims and the Indians gathered around a table and gave
THANKS to God for the plentiful harvest.
Nowadays, we can buy our turkeys in stores, get almost everything else canned, or do it the old-fashioned way, but don't forget to add a little thanks on the side.
Well, I didn't mean for this to be a long blog, so Happy Thanksgiving!
No profanity please.
May the Force be with us all! God bless!
