Oh, Darth Revan Figure, You Elude Me Still!
Well, as promised, I'm here to write about my experiences at the local Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys-R-Us. Not experiences like how self check-out lanes are a pain in the butt, but good experiences. Such as finding rare Star Wars figures!

Well, several weeks ago my brother was lucky enough to find a McQuarrie Chewbacca; unfourtunately, it was already in the hands of someone else, a "nerd" as he called him. However, we made up for our loss several days later.

Only a few weeks ago, I found a Darth Malak figure (which I had to have) along with a Pre Cyborg Grevious! My bro and I had to have them so we picked them up. The Malak actually has a missing jaw, and the Grevious was freakin' huge.

Only a few days after, I saw a Animated Boba Fett, a McQuarrie snowtrooper, and a Yoda on kybuck. Only problem was, I hadn't started my job yet, so, quite frankly, I was broke. So I asked for them for Christmas. Now when I open them on the 25th, I will have to act surprised. Mom said so.

But still...........I long to find a Darth Revan. It's nagging at me that I can't find him. But he'll be out in local stores soon enough.

That's my experience at the toy stores. I'm looking forward to the Force Unleashed coming out for the Wii. I'm still not sure what I'm going to be for Halloween. I had pondered being Napoleon Dynamite because I can do a pretty flippin' sweet impression. But, I might just walk down the road with a lightsaber. My brother is being Jack Sparrow.

Have any of y'all been lucky enough to find a Revan?

May the Force be with us all! God bless!

Well, I'd write a blog about my experience at Star Wars figure selling stores, but it would be short. Nothing in any store around me. I want that Grievous, though. You're lucky you've found what you have. :)

Is Force Unleashed even for the Wii?

Yes, but it's coming out separate from the Xbox 360 and PS3 releases. It will be out sometime in April. A long wait, but I'm sure that it'll be worth it.

I had a heck of a time getting a Clone Wars tattooed Anakin, so I bought one online and paid way to much for it. Ah, well... I can only go toy department-hopping so much before it becomes a drag... :D

Oh yes, I nearly forgot, I bought the McQuarrie Boba Fett on Ebay for 15 dollars.

I CAN'T FIND A REVAN OR MALAK ANYWHERE. WALMART AND TARGET HAVE BOTH BEEN HORRIBLE FOR STAR WARS FOR MONTHS NOW,

Yeah, I have 2 of Revan. I actually have, or should I say had, doubles of Wave 5. I sold Odle, Corobb, 3PO w/Crumb, and the extra Yoda w/Kybuck. I kept the other Yoda w/Kybuck after taking a closer look at it and realizing that it is indeed a great figure.

Aside from that, I now only have 2 of Revan, Malak, tattoo Anakin, pre-cyborg Grievous, and 3 of the McQuarrie Starkiller. So I'm done with that wave.

And I'm also done with Wave 6 as the only figures I wanted from there were the McQuarrie Snowtrooper (I have 4 - great figure!) and General McQuarrie himself. I've seen multiples of everything else from Wave 6, but they weren't as interesting to me.

Now I'm just waiting for Wave 7 to come along. The only one I'm interested there would be the McQuarrie Han Solo, of course. The others from that wave just seem to be rushed.

I'm glad someone has had luck. DARTH TRAJKOVICH is right! I'm so sick of seeing the "legends" and their so called "collectors choice" figures I'm ready to scream. A bland Imperial officer and desert stormtrooper is collectors choice? Says who? When I could have a Yoda on a kybuck or a new jedi or sith and all I can find is legends repacks? And it's not because kids want well known characters. I doubt many of them know who Biggs is, and he's been all over the place. Too bad Star wars collectors can't unite and march on these retail stores. I'm sure they are clueless how much money they are losing.X-(
