Well, last night was Halloween (duh), and I decided to go as Darth Vader, only with a special twist. I had bought a nerd mask several years ago, and it looks great on me, but I'm not sure that's a good thing. Anyway, I put on the mask and put the top of my Vader helmet over it. Quite honestly, I reminded myself of Dark Helmet from
Spaceballs.
I walked out onto the streets and immediately my mask's glasses started to fog. It must have been a strange sight. A tall guy (I'm 6 foot) wearing a nerd mask under a Darth Vader helmet tripping around in the grass. After not many people laughed at my costume, I had hoped to get some laughs, I shed my nerd mask and became.....DARTH VADER! only without a mask. So I walked around with a Vader lightsaber and a black helmet. Several people said, "Hey Darth!" or "Look out, it's Vader!" One kid even walked up to me and asked to hold my lightsaber, it was one of the expensive FX types, so I let him.
All in all it was very fun!!! And kinda funny. But I like that, if life goes flawless all the time what can we laugh about?
I didn't get any candy because I just walked the streets and let my brother go to the houses. However, he let me have some of his candy.
When I looked at my shadow it looked like Darth Vader himself, so I was happy about that. I saw one kid dressed as a clone trooper and several others as Vader. I looked the most realistic

. I saw another kid dressed up as Nascar driver Jeff Gordon, so I waved to him and said that I liked his costume. I actually dressed as Jeff Gordon when I was only seven or eight.
Anyway, it's a new month. I have the rough draft of a research paper due on the 8th, so I've been working on that. My topic is the
crash of the Columbia space shuttle on February 1, 2003. It's going pretty well right now.
Well, I thought I'd just check in and write a blog. Did any of you have a funny Halloween experience last night? Don't hesitate to comment!
No profanity, please.
MTFBWY! God bless!
