My Most Awesome Victory
Well, I just got done playing one of the best rounds of Star Wars Monopoly ever. It comes in second only to the time that I obliterated my family with a whopping 5,000 credits to thier 1,000.

[NOTE: My family and I don't play Monopoly in the correct way, we do a shortcut way that takes only about 1 hour. We forget about Rent and Hotels; if you land on the place, you can buy it if it's unowned or you pay someone if it's owned.]

Anyway, it turns out, I didn't even win today, I got 3rd (out of four), and my Dad, playing as Obi-Wan, won. So, it turns out that after all but about three pieces of land had been taken, I had only four lands, two of which were ships (or railroads), and the other was Endor (a light blue land). Well, as you can imagine, my money dwindled away pretty quickly.

I was down to about 100 credits and there was a deadly strip of land ahead of me. With some quick thinking, I sold my green land for 300 credits. After I roll, I have to pay nearly 400 credits. Thanks to my thinking, I stayed alive with 8 credits.

I passed Go and gained 200 credits, but almost immediately I had to pay 125 credits back. I then took a loan from my brother, promising to return his generosity with an extra 10 credits. So, with only about 100 credits I pushed on into another deadly strip of land. After selling Endor and getting some lucky rolls, I emerged with almost 50 credits.

I then had to sell my two ships to get enough money to live. Finally, after I'd made two complete revolutions around the board barely getting by, my mom ran out of money.

I paid all the rest that I had to my brother, keeping only 1 credit. Whew! After celebrateing my third-place finish, I wrote "Ethan's Lucky Credit" on the back of the credit. Then, I decided to write this blog. And now my mom is pestering me to get to bed. I guess I will.

Sorry, I don't have much time for checking my spelling or grammar.

May the Force be with us all! God bless!

P.S. Only one week until Christmas and school's out!
