As I was traveling through the Star Wars saga and parts of the EU in my mind, it occurred to me. I guess it must be the price all Sith must pay............they lose their hair. (KOTOR spoiler below, and if you haven't played it yet, do so). I also must make this clear, just in case. I'm not trying to pick on bald people.

You're probably thinking, "No, there must be several Sith with hair!" Really, first there's the obvious....

Darth Sidious: Ohhhhh, he lost his hair after trying to zap Windu, but in reality, he ending up zapping himself.
Darth Vader: He got his hair burnt off........except his eyebrows
Darth Maul: I wonder if his species can ever grow hair?
Darth Tyranus (Dooku): Well......he didn't have a lot of hair
General Grievous: Not a true Sith but............... He was bald.

Now to the EU, first KOTOR...

Darth Malak: Bald, although it seems as though he never had hair
Darth Revan: Well, although the character in the game may have hair depending on your choice, the figure doesn't
Darth Bandon: He is quite bald....except for on his chin
Darth Sion: Of course, it would be hard for a man made of stone to grow hair.....except for moss
Darth Nihilus: First, would you believe that he's not in the databank...and, we never see his true head, but his mask is bald.
Darth Traya (Kreia): She's a woman, what do you think? Yes, she has hair.

Those are some obvious Sith of KOTOR, of course, there are more...

Ajunta Pall: He is a ghost, but he is bald.
Uthar Wynn: Leader of the Sith Academy on Korriban, and he is most definately bald.
Yuthura Ban: The oddly colored Twi'lek who trys to help us become a Sith in the Academy, of course, I end up killing both her and Uthar, but always her first. Oh yeah, and she's bald.
Juhani: She was a Sith for a time and she had but a few braids of hair.
Visas Marr: Hard to say, I assume that she must have some hair.
I could name a few others, but they weren't really Sith.

There are other examples...

Asajj Ventress: A bald woman.
Darth Bane: He was a bald dude.
Exar Kun: According to The New Essential Chronology, he had hair.
Ulic Qel-Droma: *sighs* It seems as though he did indeed have hair.

So, of the 20 Sith that I've listed, 12 are definitely bald and 3 could be bald while only 5 most definitely have hair. And 2 of those don't have much hair. So...the only Sith that I know of with flowing locks is Kreia. And Exar and Ulic have short hair.

Now, if you count the Sith from this blog, then I guess you can add another bald Sith.

It seems as though being bald is synonymous with being a Sith. It's almost like a rule.
Sith Master: To become a Sith you must pass many trials.
Apprentice: Yes master.
Master: And you must shave your head.
Apprentice: Noooooo! Not my beautiful locks!

Anyway, I'd be happy to hear of other Sith I can add to this blog, especially bald ones.
