Happy Leap Year Day!
Hello one and all on this special day that only comes around once every four years!

As a child I was fascinated with such things that...well, a nerd would be fascinated with. I loved numbers, when I was only 3 or 4 I would get a piece of chalk and write numbers. One day I even got to 311. (I know that because it's still written on one of Dad's car ramps.) I also loved the planets! I would strive to find out all I could about outer space. Even now, if someone in my family has a question about space they come to me. And also, I loved the calendar. Seeing all those new year numbers. It was so exciting when 2000 rolled around. A whole new millennium! And now it is 2008. I also loved the idea of a leap year. One special day once every four years! It comes around as often as the Olymipics and the presidential elections! (which both happen on a leap year) Best of all, this leap year in May I'm turning 16! So Happy Leap Year Day to you all!

In other news, Scout, my dog, got his results in. He has an enlarged heart and maybe one or two heartworms. The heartworm treatment gives a 50-50 chance of living, along with 2-3 weeks with almost no movement at all during the treatment. So, we'll put him on heartworm preventitive measures and pray that all goes well. We'll probably not do the treatment because his lungs have cleared up from all the mucus, and he seems to be moving around well. Thanks for the prayers guys!

I had a dream about watching the new Clone Wars movie last night. It was cool, but I forgot all the details except that Obi-Wan had a rather long monologue and Yoda and Mace were fighting together. The fight scenes were awesome!!

Anyway, see y'all later!

MTFBWY! God bless!

That's got news about your dog--God is always in the miracle business. I hope the heartworm treatment goes well (and will keep praying).

That's interesting about your dream. I remember YEARS ago dreaming a "Star Wars" comic and buying #107 (the last issue of the Marvel series) and seeing pictures I recognized from the dream. Things like that happen a lot to me (not just with "Star Wars", but never anything major).

Glad to hear things seem to be going well for your dog.

I like Leap Year as well. I have a friend that got married on Feb. 29....2000. Which I thought was doubly cool.

Glad to hear Scout's getting better, and that the vet got a good handle on things. Its gotta be a big relief to know the full picture. Hope the little guy keeps improving!

Best wishes for Scout.
I like space, too! Did you see the eclipse on the 20th?
It comes around as often as the Olympics and the presidential elections!
Finally, somebody else uses my memory device!

I went out to look, but the clouds shrouded everything.

It's so much better.

Cool! So they've only been married for two years. ;)

Indeed God is always there. I don't know if we're going to do the treatment because of the high risk. Well probably keep him as is because of his improving condition.

Thanks for the prayers!

G'kek! It was really good.
The next total one is on Sagan Day. That's pretty sweet.

Haven't been able to get on for a while. Glad to read about Scout. How's he doing now?
I've been praying for you.
