The Top Ten Ways To Prepare For Episode III
Well, with ROTS less than 48 hours away for some, (61 hours for me with a 10:00 AM EST show on the the 19th), I'd thought it appropriate to share with you what I've done to prepare for this momentous occasion in a Letterman-esque Top Ten countdown.

#10. Catch up on the EU leadup to ROTS. Myself, I've read the Clone Wars novels I've missed, having read The Cestus Deception last week, tonight I'll finish Yoda: Dark Rendevous, and tomorrow and Wednesday I'll fly through Labyrinth Of Evil, the leadup novel to Episode III. Rather than reading it when it first came out, I thought it'd be cool to read it the day before ROTS.

#9. Start a blog! If you're a member of hyperspace, there's no better way to share your thoughts about the upcoming film and what you'll be doing to celebrate it!

#8. Go collectible hunting. There's nothing like scouring local stores for that awesome Vader T-shirt you want to wear on Thursday or that figure you've been dying to get your hands on.

#7. Watch the films! Whether you stick to just Ep I and II or watch all five, it's a great way to hype yourself up.

#6. Post on the forums! Blow off steam in the Cantina or go in-depth with discussions on everything SW.

#5. Stare eagerly at your pre-ordered tickets and gloat to your friends about how early you've gotten them.

#4. Watch TV! There's tons of SW related programming this week, from documentaries on cable to a SW themed episode of Live with Regis and Kelly.

#3. Panic!! What if I oversleep and miss my day showing? What if I fall asleep and miss my midnight showing? What if I lose my tickets? What if my car breaks down? Consider all plausible worst case scenarios and assure yourself they won't happen, yet at the same time compose a strategy to deal with all of these problems should they arise.

#2. If going to a day show, make sure you get plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast. For the midnight crowd, don't tire yourself out during the day, and drink coffee if needed.

#1. As Frankie once said, Relax! This is a milestone for SW fans, so don't worry yourself about whether it'll be good or not, or if Qui-Gon will be in it. Enjoy ROTS, as there will never be another "first time" seeing it!

BTW, look for a ten-part series "Deconstructing the Sith", which will be a comprehensive breakdown of everything about the movie. Coming soon.

May the Force be with you, always.
