Gran is the three-eyed goat-faced species we can se in a galaxy far far away. The first time we saw such alien was Ree-Yees in Return of the Jedi. A number of similar masks were then crafted for Mawhonic and his Podracer pit crew and for the Malastare delegation in the Senate. And we can find them in the Outlander Club too.

Aks Moe is a senator in the Galactic Senate during the Trade Federations blockade of Naboo. Aks Moe is a bureaucrat to the core. Eventually he got replaced by senator Ask Aak.

Ainlee Teem from Malastare was nominated to succeed Valorum as Supreme Chancellor. Later on the Senate instead selects Palpatine as the new Supreme Chancellor..

Mawhonic is a Podrace driver. His qualifying runs earned him a starting position in the front row nearside pole position in the Bounta Eve Race at Tatooine.
Mawhonic was the only alien Podracer to be realized as a masked performer. The rest were computer-generated or puppets.

Mark Coulier worked with special effects for The Phantom Menace and was a makeup artist for Attack of the Clones, but he also played Aks Moe in The Phantom Menace. Mark Coulier has won two Emmy for makeup.

Marc Silk did Aks Moe's voice in The Phantom Menace.
