I'm a Queen now.
Welcome back.

Last Friday I traveled over to Skywalker Ranch to the archives to try on the costumes that could be what I wear in the parade. Skywalker Ranch is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. I may be a little biased but it is an amazing sight at 9 Am.

I walked into the archives to see a couple of different outfits on mannequins that were being prepared to go on tour. As well as C3PO and R2-D2 standing near by. Random props and models jumped at me from different parts of the room, a Wampa head and a life-sized speeder bike. After a few minutes I was ushered to the costumes and we began the process of the fitting. The first dress I tried on was the Picnic Dress for Episode II, this dress is beautiful. And it FIT!!! I couldn't believe that I am the same size as Natalie and that I was wearing the dress that was featured on Vanity Fair. I know so many people that would fight to wear this dress and I was one of them.

The second outfit chosen for me to try was the Packing Dress from Episode II. This dress had so many layers and was very warm. The full corset and long skirt made my feel like some sort of Queen. I love this dress. I was a little worried about the hair for this outfit but after putting it on I realized it just makes the costume what you see in the movie.

The last dress was the black dress from Episode I. I believe it is worn just after Naboo is being invaded. (But I could be wrong.) This had so many snaps and buttons I was a little dizzy watching them all being snapped. It was so long and heavy but warm and on January 1 it will be a little cold out. The embroidery on the front of this was really great but the sleeves were so long that I could not get my hands out or lift my arms up. With this dress I would be wearing the traditional white face paint that Queen Amidala wore.

This was one of the coolest experiences I had had and I look forward to the parade more and more everyday. It has not been decided which dress I will be wearing, and it's driving me crazy. But I will see you all on January 1.

P.S. I have been practicing my wave. To see my pictures please go here:
