Greetings, fellow bloggers! I was bored this morning, so I fired up KOTOR 2 for X-Box. I hadn't played in a while, so I started a new game. (I never got past the mining station anyway on the old save). Ever since I first read the manual upon purchase of the game, I was mystified. I do not own or have not played the first KOTOR (although I heard it was great!

), and was confused about the Sims-reminiscent combat system. You just press an attack button, and an action is added to a quene. Combat is turn based. It is like some Armed and Dangerous meets Civ IV. RPG + TBS! (Role-Playing Game + Turn-Based Strategy for those who don't spend all day playing games like me). I think that a real time combat system like Ep. 3 or some of the other games would make it more realistic. In real combat, they don't say, "I attacked, now it's your turn." You know, if the RPG system, open-ended gameplay, and story weren't so good, you would have a bad game.
