The Scheme of Things
This blog entry (it seems like forever since my last entry) is about Palpatine's plan to control the galaxy (or, My Plan). Well, I was watching Episode III again (to you, the reader, it seems that all I do is watch and rewatch and rewatch the movies [you're about right]) when I began to think about Palps and his plan. Either he is a supergenius or extremely lucky, I haven't decided which (that is another blog entry, though). Why did he go to such great lengths to restore Anakin after the Mustafar duel? He certainly didn't try to stop the Dooku/Anakin fight or sew up Maul again. Or maybe that was part of his plan. He meant to test Ani by having him fight Dooku. Maybe Anakin (or the Chosen One in general [again, whether Anakin was the Chosen One is for another blog]) was his main goal, and he intended Maul and Dooku to be his henchmen in the meantime. Then Dooku changed uses, from boredom buster to test dummy. Or maybe Palpatine just rolls with the punches and got tired of replacing apprentices (you're fired!). I have racked my brain with this one, and could use some fresh ideas. (how many parenthesis can I fit in a blog entry?!?!?!?) I would love some more ideas. (here's one more). Feel free, nay, obliged to comment on this one. And I expect to see comments for more than two days! (for those of you counting parenthesis at home, get a life) Chop, Chop, do as I say!
