You all have seen me around and know me as Jacen, But none of you really know Jacen, so this is my chance to introduce you to him!
He is the lead character in a novel-series I've been working on for the better part of a year now! Maybe more, I'm not too sure!

The following is one of the first things I wrote, which I still read to try and inspire myself and overcome any blocks which are all but inevitable as all you fellow authors would know all too well!

The ability to create, do I really have it?

Can I truly fathom to write about the triumphs of a champion I have chosen above all? Can he really exist in your mind? Will I be able to project him clearly enough for you to see the greatness he holds within?

Will you see the lands that he travels in search of the one he longs to confront? Will you taste the fear that engulfs him and feel the pains that suffocate his very purpose? Will you let out a sigh of relief that he breathes at the sight of a friend?

His anguish, his frustrations, his joys, his love, the air he breathes, the voice that can soothe him to his very soul. The quest that he must begin and the end, which is all but inevitable. His heart, his mind, his very destiny shall be mine to command. Will I leave you with an insatiable desire to turn the page or will I leave my desires behind, after writing one?

I am now scared, as he will be. I can feel the vulnerability that he too shall feel. I can sense the expectations that he holds for himself, within me.
