One Question for George Lucas

So here's blog number 100 (Yay!) but I did my celebration last blog, so today it's just a regular blog. Just one question, that I'll never get to ask, but would love to hear the answer to.

Dear Mr. Lucas,

If you'd known while coming up with A New Hope that you'd have all the funding in the world to make the rest of the movies, from V to III, with, what would you have done differently?

Wouldn't that be interesting? To see what ANH would be like if Lucas had known all that he would do in the future, and how the saga would expand beyond that one movie? Surely he would have made some changes, had he known, and I can't help but wonder what he would have done.

date Posted: Apr 28, 2008 6:59 PM That is a really good question... I feel like, with all the times he's been interviewed, it seems like someone should have asked Mr. Lucas that question by now. Yet I'm near certain I've never read of it. Gosh, now you've got me really curious about what the answer would be!

date Posted: Apr 29, 2008 6:56 AM Congrats on the big 100! That's a great question. Part of me thinks the story would have unfolded chronologically.

date Posted: Apr 30, 2008 1:15 AM Happy triple digits! My answer: see SE. Honestly, I doubt he would have changed much. He started with ANH (and ESB and ROTJ) because they were the best parts of the story. And a story needs an audience, so he would have still debuted with that part of it.
