"Troops" is a legendary Star Wars Fan Film, a spoof of both Star Wars and the popular TV show "Cops."

Recently on G4TV, an episode of "Attack of the Show" featured a chat with Troops creator Kevin Rubio. (http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/episodes/4850/Kevin_Rubio.html. The link doesn't really have any useful or interesting information, but I spent time digging it up, so I'm not going to waste it. )

This feature is what made me think about the fan films that I've enjoyed, and led me to decide to write a blog about Stromtrooper Bob. I decided to keep going with the Fan Film thing for a bit and just give a shout out to Troops.

Troops is a very high quality, highly entertaining, and very humorous spoof detailing some of the unseen events in A New Hope.

Troops really started the Fan Film craze, and it deserves tribute, especially since after many years it is still one of the best films out there. I'm sure most of you have already seen it, but for anyone who hasn't go watch it now. It's a fantastic must see.
