There are many accusations of plot holes and inconsistencies in the Star Wars movies. It's especially popular to complain about the Prequels.
Many accusations are ignorant, many are reasonable, many are debatable, virtually all are explicable (that's what bloggers are for

.
But the one most glaring gap in logic, the most irreconcilable flaw in any of the Star Wars movies is...
That vine that Luke and Leia swing on from Jabba's Sail Barge to the skiff.
Think about it.
Where the heck is that hanging from?
The top of the barge? A swing like that would be very hard, probably about as hard as just jumping, if the rope was fastened that low. Was it hanging from some super tall, never before seen, mysterious tatooine tree? Was it hanging from some crane on the sail barge? Where was that?
What is is made of?
It looks like some kind of brown paper mache vine. Is it a rope? Why is it so thick and wierd? Is it a vine? What is a vine doing on Jabba's Sail Barge/ In the middle of the Tatooine desert?
Why is it even there?
Can you even answer that question without knowing where it came from or where it hangs from? What is for pulling people out of the Sarlacc? A) They all went in anyways. I didn't see any saving. B)They're thugs. They don't care about they're fellow sentients. C) They're thugs. They're preoccupied fighting/avoiding the Jedi, Wookiee, blind guy, black guy, giant monster, and hot chick in a bikini. Even if they were using it, why did they decide to fasten it to an arbitrary point 30 feet in the air?
Where does it go?
We never see the rope again. Maybe it fell into the Sarlacc (mmm... spaghetti). But what about what was suspending it? We never see a big crane or a big tree or a big elephant or anything that could hold it up, let alone was.
So what's the deal?
Was Yoda or Obi-Wan materializing from beyond the grave to fabricate, raise, and conveniently place the rope?
Did Luke use the Force to sturdily suspend a rope capable of suspending two people, then swing across it, instead of just suspending the people in air?
Was there some huge folding crane on the Sail Barge that temporarily comes out to lower the rope to help people down below, but immediately and suddenly retracts completely out of site as soon as it detects an imminent explosion?
OOO, maybe there was a repulsor lifty thingy lifting the end up into the air for some reason, and it malfunctioned and fell into the Sarlacc when we weren't looking.
Okay, so it really isn't a big deal. Maybe I was a little over-dramatic in the sub-title of the blog.

Sorry bout that.
Many people don't notice, most people don't care. I sure don't. It's small and simple, but gosh-darn is it incomprehensible. Seriously, think about it. I'd love to entertain more crazy theories, and I'd love it if someone came up with something reasonable that doesn't involve retconning (That's too easy.

)
P.S. In case you didn't catch on, this blog isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's silly; but seriously, think about it. It really does make no sense.
