Your father?
I'm writing this blog in honor of Leia Week, and it is directly inspired by Sarlacc-Pitt's very recent blog.

I totally agree with that blog about Leia, but whenever I watch that scene, I can't help but think of a slightly different, somewhat more comical scenario.

LUKE: Vader is here...now, on this moon.

LEIA (alarmed): How do you know?

LUKE: I felt his presence. He's come for me. He can feel when I'm near. That's why I have to go. As long as I stay, I'm endangering the group and our mission here. I have to face him.

LEIA: Why?

LUKE: He's my father.

LEIA: Your father? Wow, that SUCKS.

LUKE: There's more.

LEIA: I mean come on! The hero of the rebellion is the son of the Emperor's right hand man? Speaking of hands, didn't he cut off yours once? That must have been weird. I bet the look on your face was priceless, though.

LUKE: Uh..It won't be easy for you to hear it, but--

LEIA: Seriously, that just sucks. I feel sorry for you, man. Being Darth Vader's offspring? I'm sure that will make you a very inconspicuous target for the Emperor. Hoo boy, good luck with that.

LUKE: I think you should know--

LEIA: DAYUM. Vader's son. Sucks to be you. Hehehe. Anyways, you were saying?
