Battlefront II or ROTS?

I have reached a difficult desicion with in the last few months. Battlefront II and ROTS share the same release date. Being only 14 I have a limited amount of money, causing me to only have enough to pay for one or the other. I will end up owning them both eventualy but I wont be able to buy them both November 1.

After buying the Xbox Magazine ONLY for the Battlefront II demo I was quite impressed with the graphics and gameplay of it. Another new feature to hit battlefront II different from the original is the clan support for Xbox Live gamers. Which I happen to be quite excited about. (first star wars clan supporting game)

Then theres ROTS....Also cant wait to own! It completes the saga and answers most of the Questions I always had. I was only able to see ROTS once....so there were probaly lots of little details I missed. Which I wont catch unless I re-watch it, which I will do many times.

So this leaves me with the issue of not knowing what to spend my money on. The best Star Wars game ever, or the last puzzle peice?

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 6:44 PM I'd actually say Battlefront II, if you're so excited about clan support you'll probably want to be there from the beginning. ROTS will be around for a very long time, unchanged. Of course the best solution is some sort of "Get rich quick" scheme.

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 6:48 PM Thats what I was thinking. Most likely if I can get my mom or dad to give me a ride to gamestop thats what Im going to do, reserve Battlefront and save my money for ROTS, but then again I like the get rich quick Idea.

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 6:50 PM ROTS, all the way! I would love to have BF2, but ROTS has priority for me. I can't wait to have it in my hands. I would definately not regret buying ROTS first. I will probably not get BF2 until christmas, but possibly before. I wish I knew of lots of get-rich-quick scemes. I would sell DVDs of my ideas, and that's how i'd get rich quick

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 6:54 PM i have had my money for ROTS for like ever... you should get ROTS and then sell addmission to see it to friends, then use the dough to buy battlefront II

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 7:36 PM I am too 14 but I had a birthday about 2 months ago and I have been saving my money to buy both and I can't wait. But if i were you I would get ROTS because I only got too see it twice and I loved it. And I can't wait to watch it again.

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 8:22 PM I think Im going to go ahead and reserve Battlefront II. I dont like the thought of holding out on ROTS any longer...but maybe I can do some extra chores so I can borrow some money from my parents.

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 9:44 PM If you have enough money to just get one id buy the movie cause its cheaper and what money you have left over save and try to figure some way to get the rest. you said the movie will be around for a long time so will the game.

date Posted: Oct 18, 2005 10:00 PM Both games are great, but i would go with battlefront 2, while i really enjoyed ROTS, theres not much to it after you beat the game at every possible angle

Personally speaking, I would buy the movie and rent the game. It won't be too long before you'll be able to buy that game at a reduced price anyway. BTW, if you decide to get the game, I know at the Gamestop, at least where I live, it will be available on Halloween. I went to reserve my copy for it two days ago and the manager there told me that he "just got word that their shipment for it will be in on the 31."
