After watching ANH yesterday a new thought ran through my mind. I don't see how I never really thought about it before! How could Obi-wan not remember R2 and 3PO? I would understand him not remembering 3PO much, but what about R2? R2-d2 saved their lives several times. In TPM while Obi-wan was still a padawan he saved the starship from catching fire and blowing or something and in ROTS he saved both Anakin and Obi-wan from their star fighters being destroyed. Then also in ROTS C-3PO was with Obi-wan on Mustafar. Wouldn't that have been one of the most important days of his life.....so I think he would have remembered every detail, including the droids?
