That's right! Stranded in the Wal-Mart Parking lot.

Well lets see, I decided today would have been a great day to finish up my Christmas shopping. I had already bought for my aunt, uncle, and grandma, so now I had to do the rest. Since I was buying for my parents I asked my grandma if she could take me into to town so I could finish up the shopping.

My grandma had just got a new transmission and she was having a bit of trouble changing gears, but neither of us seemed to think much of it. We assumed it was the transmission just being brand new and all.

Well anyways we arrived at Wal-Mart and she had some shopping to do so we went different ways and met up later. I bought my dad a new set of screwdrivers, my mom 3 new pans, my brother 2 new hot wheels cars he didn't have, my cousin a new lightsaber, and my grandpa a western book he hadn't read yet. After I was done shopping I decided I couldn't leave without at least looking at the ROTS figures, so I went by and checked them out and left with a Mon Mothma.

A few minutes later I checked out and left the store with my grandma, found the truck, and it wouldn't start! The steering wheel was locked, the key wouldn't turn, and the gears wouldn't change from park. My grandma called my grandpa on her cell phone. From there he called the guy that had changed the transmission. Then from there we were able to contact a guy much closer to where we were.

We sat in the parking lot for a bout an hour only to tell us it wasn't the truck! It was the key. Luckily my grandma had an extra key in her purse. She tried it and it worked! So of course then we felt completely stupid for not trying the extra key. So when in doubt always try the extra key

So theres the day I was stranded in the Wal-mart parking lot!
