 | Battlefront 3...expectations, but is it possible? |
 Is it possible that Lucas Arts will be making a Battlefront 3? As nice as it would be to have a battlefront 3 I think it is very unlikely it will ever be made...or thought of.
What would Battlefront 3 have that 2 doesn't?
New heroes, new solider classes...New Maps!? For Xbox Live users we are given the chance to buy a new hero and a new villain. Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress. These two would be nice to add into the game for all users...weather they may have Xbox, pc, PS2...It shouldn't matter. Battlefront 3 would give the option to everyone. A few other characters that should be have been added into the game that weren't. Qui-gon and Lando calrissian. A few maps could include those from Battlefront 1, but not battlefront 2...these maps will also be available for live users.

The Expanded universe...added into Battlefront? Yes that's right...it would be great to add in a few new battles maybe even from the mandolorian wars or The Great Hyperspace war. Battlefront 3 could increase our knowledge of these battles we know very little about. I am not into the EU much, but it sure would be nice to see some of these added in. And we all know what EU battles mean! EU heroes
Changing Star Wars History Even More!
Battlefront 1 and 2 gave us all the chance to change the way the battles were. Who won the battles...who dominated the war. I would like to see some of these famous battles in space added into the game! Destruction of the first Death Star...Destruction of the second Death star.
New Single Player Game play
I was overall impressed with the storyline of the game that was added in for single player...but why only the Empire? We saw the Rise of the Empire...why not a fall? Yes you read that right...Fall of the Empire! Play as the rebels and take down the Empire...bringing back the Republic forever.
So....Is a new Battlefront Possible?
Battlefront 1 and 2 are the Top selling Star Wars games ever, why not make a sequel? Would a sequel change the game play? It might. If all the things above were added into a new game then maybe the whole point of the game would suddenly disappear. The whole point of the games were to play through the battles of the saga...wouldn't it change the game if it was more than just the saga?

That would be pretty cool! But, I don't think Lucasarts will ever make it.And even if they did it wouldn't be out for three or four years

A mandalorian war one would be awsome. They could do an all-mighty Expanded Universe one, a two-disc set with every battle ever. If I got to pick it, I'd say do the New Jedi Order Battlefront, and get to play as the Empire, Republic, Vong, or Mandalorians.
Or they could do one on that new TV series coming out. When does that come out again???

My bro & I thought BF2 was descent. Not as good as the first, but descent. I would like to see more one on one jedi battles on galactic conquest mode ( also in instant action ) even single player mode too, like in BF1, when you play instant action mode you get a jedi and sith lord but they would walk right past each other and not interact?. Maybe EU but not

I'd love to see a BF3 Game, and I'd love to see it take on the EU, but certain characters HAVE to be hit. Mara Jade, Corran Horn, Durge, Assaj Ventress, Siri Tachi, and Padme (Yeah, I know, Padme's not an EU character, but I want a little Padme running around in her Geonosis Arena get-up blasting battle droids!)
And how about adding some different troopers - like the Republic Commandos, Grevious' bodyguards with their Staffs, some different battle droids, and some rebel aliens BESIDES wookies.

I'd also like to see characters fly ships! Your pilot leaders can add additional shields, speed, energy, and maybe a few sneaky maneuvers or classic ships. Imagine flying out into space as Han Solo, flying the Falcon loaded down with troops, but still zipping about like a fighter! Characters would HAVE to include Wedge Antilles (X-Wing), Tycho Celchu (A-Wing), Luke in Pilot Uniform (X-Wing), Darth Vader (Advanced TIE), Anakin Skywalker (his cool Jedi Starfighter from Clone Wars), Baron Fel (Tie Interceptor), and Grand Admiral Thrawn, who'd have to give you some cool Capital ship bonus (like having Capital Ship Weapons that actually HIT other capital ships) - you could throw in Admiral Ackbar so the rebellion has a counter.

Hey, maby they will make it because the left out alot of characters that have to do with the
main SW saga. In the x-box version they threw in Asajj Ventress and y not ps2?!
So in my opinion, they should make BF 3.

You couldn't do space battles with heros becuase you don't keep them long enough to do aby damage! And whatdo you guys have against an Expanded Universe BF3?

I think it would be great if another game were to come out. Add another level to the courasaunt planet, new heros, locations, and some new units and bonuses. Then it would be a great game. I also agree that they should add those two space battles you mentioned, plus having a hero in space.

It sounds good. I think they should have some Rouge Squadron, like missions, such as the Death Star attack, and maybe you could have 3 capital ships, and you could actually destroy them. Spice up the space battles

battlefront 2 improvments for 3:
Instead of just having a first person view in space, with a few numbers around you and that's it, it would be ideal to have a cockpit view. An actual view where you could be inside the cockpit and have a look around inside it a bit.
Snowspeeders don't have the ability to do rolls or flips, simple as, so why they put flips and roles in a snowspeeder is beyond my mind.

Have more capital ships in space, more cannons, give space a more sense of deadlyness and danger. The destructions need improving aswell....debri shouldn't blow up and then dissappear, it should float away in space and then dissappear.The main capital ships should be deadlier and we need to see one of them blow up infront of us not just do so many objectives blow everything else up and then game over. we need to see the end result!
space missiles and weapons need that extra 'umph' in it too. Also have limits to how many you can use. like the author said new heroes and characters etc...

Jedi clone Walker- dose some good ideas- it's too easy to just lock on to someone and press the trigga. more danger- more risks, either people are in a turret shootin at ya or lockin missles from a distance- it has become to predictable.
i heard that if you shoot at the capital ship- it'll disappear -it takes a LONG while.
Last thing- anyone who plays online here think to many people use force pull? open to opinions!

I have even more ideas for this should-be-created-game.
Having Your own battlion of troops to command.
A better ranking System
Upgradable weapons and armor
Destroyable Capital Ships
bigger space battles with alot more gameplay
More jedi and Sith powers
A creatible character/general you can play with during your battles
A better Graphics engine
A better online
George Lucas as the producer of this franchise
Customizable Capital ships ( you can add more weapons to you ships)
Clone Commandos
The star wars Planets ( all of them)
The Zhong Wars ( episodes 7 8 and 9)

ye, BF2 in it self was a great improvement, especially when it comes to space, heroes work good as well (exept for that many kids put them on 10 sec spawn time and do nothing but destroy the fun  ), grafs improved, maps and units improved. But there is always work to be done, i would like to play as imperial guards, Lando, magna guard (with elecrto staff!!!), Kit Fitso (hes cool ) and many more. Perhaps you could improve space battles as well making them bigger and more intense, more maps are ofc always fun (i miss bespin ), however i would be dissapointed if they added EU, im a big fan of the movies but i think they should be separated from the major EU events like the books or clone wars cartoons.

They NEED republic commandos in Any battlefront game imagine how cool it would be to blow some one apary with a sniper or destroy a tank with a anti armor. It is also just cool 2 see a third person boss fer once too

I think Battlefront 3 should have 1 a few things, more ship interaction. I liked battlefront 1 whenever u can fly ships durring land battles. I also think you should be able to " fight the batltles in land and space" at the same time. Say for instance on hoth. You can finish the battle on the ground then fly a speeder to space, whenever you want. Also, i think it would be awesome if you can do the death star space battle whenever they blow it up. so ya, these are just a few things that i thing would be great for BF3.

The day the bring out Battlefront 3 for xbox 360 is the day i go and buy an xbox 360 so hurry up lucas
My hopes for Battle front 3 are
More 501st and include the real 501st sign in there.
Use all real 501st members names rather than ''Arran gunner or Nom Carver''use ''TK 3681 Julian Potter or TK 1188 Albin Johnson'' for the computer players.
In the stats section use real pics of the 501st members costumes as avatars and could be lifted straight off the members section of 501st.com.It would be an honour to the 501st guys and the gamers and fans would love it.

Same great game play as the old battle fronts with all old maps and some new ones.
Better graphics as we expect on the new machines like xbox 360.
