I am a Star Wars fan, I have been for a just about as long as I remember, but of course all of us bloggers are...or why would we be here? One thing that I always find irritating of Star Wars fans is their criticism. I have found some star wars fans to be very nitpicky about certain things in the films, and I'm not sure why.
One of these things would be Hayden Christensen, I mean there is a reason Lucas casted him to play Anakin Skywalker, and I thought he did a great job. Yet in the past I have heard many fans criticize that he was in the films at all.
When I saw AOTC for the first time, at the time it was my favorite film of the saga. Then there was ROTS that came out not long ago...by far it is now my favorite film. I can see people going on about the changes Lucas made in ROTJ with replacing Sebastian Shaw with Hayden, but there is a reason for everything Lucas has done or made some change to each film.
Is it completely wrong for me to think Hayden did a good job in AOTC and ROTS? Yes I'm sure there are a few scenes that could have been much better, but by no doubt do I blame him for "ruining the PT" or any other things I have heard in the past come from fans.
Maybe this is all just me expecting a certain attitude from fans. I'm not quite sure, but I always thought that Star Wars fans would always respect what Lucas has choose to do with the saga. After all, Star Wars was all his vision wasn't it?
