Go on the first disc go to languages and highlight the THX symbol and type in 1138. Thats how you get it though I haven't checked it out yet.

Nope. I did the THX thing but it did not have a place to put 1138.

This worked for me:
On the first disc, go into Options and highlight the THX symbol, but don't hit "Enter" (Or "Ok" ).
Then type in "11", then hit Enter/Ok.
Then type in "3", hit Enter/Ok.
Then type in "8", hit Enter/Ok. I hope this works, good luck!

An Easter Egg is what they call items hidden in the movie that we probably wouldn't see without someone telling us it was there. Like the appearance of the Falcon in ROTS. I know I would have never found that if someone didn't tell me to expect it there. If you mean a real Easter Egg...Well, we color & decorate eggs at Easter time & then hide them for kids to find on Easter (hence - hidden items in the movies). Get it? Sorry if I that was stupid & you really knew what real Easter eggs are. I wasn't sure which one you were unaware of & maybe you're not from this country or something...who knows. Hope this helps anyway.

There is that kind of easter eggs with the 1138 codes on ALL Star Wars movies. Like for the original trilogy dvds, you go on the Bonus DVD, go on the menu were we see Luke training with the remote on the Falcon, play with the arrows on your remote to get to highlight a crate on the floor, then type the 1138 code (sometimes 11, then 3 then 8 OR button 10+ 11 then 3 then 8 OR button 10+ 11 then 10+38 OR....try all the ways you can, it will work sometimes).
Search the web on Yahoo for Star Wars DVD easter eggs, you'll get all the answers.

ya..i tried it on 2 DVD players and neither of them worked. you can only type in 2 numbers at a time on mine, and it did not activate anything. So sad.

ok where was the falcon in rots? i have not heard that one yet. they actually had a thing about the easter egg in the paper here in dallas and told us how to do it. of course it did not work so i will try your ideas

For those of you who don't know THX 1138 is Lucas student film.. Now for the code I got it to work on my ps2 by putting in 11 03 08 so don't give up try the all the combinations it is worth for all the disks!!

I can't get it to work on my DVD player but I haven't tried my PS2 yet thanks for the info. The falcon is in the begining of the movie when Obi-wan and Anakin arrive at the Jedi temple after crash landing Grievous's ship.

It's called a easter egg cuz its hidden in the movie like they are in easter egg hunts.

It took me awhile to get it to work, too. On my DVD player (a Magnavox), keying:
11 ok
3 ok
8 ok

while THX is highlighted on disc 1 under Options is what gets me in.

If you find the combination that works for you - make sure you go back to the same place on the Episodes I & II discs. There are some great blooper reels hidden there.

i don't have a dvd player, i play movies on my xbox. i don't have an enter button on my remote. is there another way i can acess it with an xbox?

Also, you don't have to highlight the THX logo, just be on the options screen.

Geez, I am really confused. I have a PS2 and a few Sony DVD players. Could someone make it really, really clear what I should do on the PS2??? Thanks!

go to i believe the website is www.dvdreview.com the select hidden features it will give you easter eggs to almost every dvd that has easter eggs. i have to go to options on the first disc, highlight the thx logo. from there i had to press +10 then 1,3 then 8 it takes a couple of tries to get it sometimes though, so keep at it and you will get it eventually.

how the heck do you highlight the THX logo, and on what screen, it's all very confusing!

1. Go to the Options Menu on the first disk.
2. Depending on which scene is in the background, you may have to move down from the menu items, left, or right, depending on which side of the screen you are on.
3. Type in some combination of 1138. For instance, on my DVD player, I have to type "11" enter, then "03", press enter again, and finally "08" and press enter a third time. On my friends, he can type in "1138" and press enter. If your DVD player has a 100+ button, you may have to use it to enter the number. The scene should start after you press enter the final time.

if u have a dvd remote like mine, u have to do the 10+ button in order to do 11, prob everyone knew that already, but...

I just watched it. Good stuff. Heres what I did. I went to options and highlighted the THX logo. I pressed 11 enter then 3 enter then 8 enter. It loaded for a little bit and then it went to the Yoda rap. I hope this helps!

I did not have to highlight the THX logo; just being on the Options screen, 11 enter, 3 enter, and 8 enter started the egg.

For those of you with a PS2:

1) Hit Options
2) Press the Select button (you should see a menu with numbers)
3) Press 1 twice (11)
4) Press 0 then 3
5) Press 0 then 8
6) Sit back and watch Yoda get funky!

For everyone who can't get it to work by typing in 1138, there is a different way to do it. If you put in the first disc and click play movie, just like you were going to watch the movie, then right after you click to watch, start hitting skip scene foreward a bunch, like 3-4 times. Do it before you leave the menu though, so you skip through the menu transition. If you go right back to the menu you hit it 2 too many times, if all you see is credits, you hit skip foreward one too many times, after the credits it takes you back to the menu, and then try it again. If the movie starts you didn't skip the transition, so try it again. This is obviously the complicated way, but if it doesn't work the other way , then this is an option.
