PARTY BLOG!!!!!

Today is my birthday! It's not a very exciting day, considering that I'm moving out of my apartment and am completely loopy on cleaning supply fumes. (Well, the loopy part could be nice, actually.) I only have a few minutes while I'm waiting for the moving van to arrive, but I knew that was plenty of time to at least get the party started.

First order of business...a THANK YOU parody, telling the story of my amazing friends and the surprise they gave me this weekend. (And yes, you HAVE to sing along! I know everybody knows this Leslie Gore classic.)

It's my party and I'll squee if I want to

Friday night I met up with my friends

I'll give you clues in future blogs as to where I will be for the next 3 weeks. It's up to YOU, super slueths, to figure out where I am.

Alrighty, I better do some work. Keep this party going, though! I'll be back (and I expect somebody to have some sort of martini waiting for me).

I have a keen deductive mind. I will amass the clues and consider the hints you give us. It is imperative that you begin with the mode of travel you will use to get to your destination. Of course, even a plane can comprise just a short hop from Point A to Point B, but at least it's a clue. I will be like Sherlock Holmes ferreting out the ultimate answer as he solves the latest murder case (how does he always seem to be around when they happen?
