If you read this entry http://blogs.starwars.com/jedilily1026/39, you know that I was meeting AS1. Here goes my morning.

6:30 am ...January 28, 2007...alarm clock goes off. Mind you, I never use an alarm clock. I almost always wake up around 6-7 am, but today I wanted to make sure I got up on time. Dressed and out my door by 7:35 am. I want you all to know that yesterday I took a drive down to our meeting place, kind of mapping out my short journey so as not to get lost and waste precious conversation time with my fellow SW fan.

Entering the parking lot of the hotel at about 8:10 am, I called AS1 cell phone and notified my arrival and that I was carrying a Jedi Mickey in my arms. She met me on the walkway to the lobby, big smiles and a biiiiiiiiiig hug was in order.

Into the lobby we took a table for two to eat breakfast and talk. About what you ask???? What all SW fans talk about!! +CIV! 1-1/2 hour of time went by in a breeze. Too short! Time for her to leave for the airport. She was gracious enough to walk me to my car, another biiiiiig warm hug and goodbye.

When I joined Hyperspace, if anyone would have told me that I would make friends that would lead to meetings like I had this morning I would have said you're crazy!

Meeting this lively, happy, beautiful, soft spoken and downright nice person will always be a highlight in my life, something I will always remember. The first time I personally met a real SW fan. See pics please.
