Years Matter Not (Gone Crazy...Be Back Soon)

Yes, another entry about Celebration IV or...
I must say there is strength in numbers. The only reason I lasted as long as I did and was able to run around like I did at Celebration IV was because of the friends who shared this experience with me. Their energy kept me going day after day. Only today do I feel totally exhausted, coasting here at work when I wish I could be in bed sleeping.

I arrived at LAX Thursday, May 24, 10:00 and was met by Hansgirl and JMMina. I can't begin to explain the feeling but there were heartfelt hugs all around. Then we greeted more of the Crew, VA2, MO2YP, E&HFan, Julie, AS1and PS77.

The Meet & Greet where I met Granny-Wan, Brook, JawaJoey, Stooge, DeeJ, Yodabud, G&W, Noby, JP77, and on and on. I know I missed a bunch but you must forgive me, I'm too tired.

The Opening Ceremonies where Gencon said: "Let them eat cake".

The Archives Display, The DV Helmet Display...all of the above impressive.

The costumes, posters, artists, Conversation with Carrie Fisher (hilarious)...there was soooo much great stuff to see but I didn't get to see it all. What I did do and see, I loved.

But what I appreciated most is the friendship I felt with all the fans on this site who shared with me at some time or another. Friends like these are hard to come by.

Another thing that especially impressed me were the little children who attended. Seeing them dressed as Jedi, DV or any other character in the SW Saga brought tears to my eyes. It's good to know that SW is alive and well starting with older generations like mine to kids 4-5-6 years old. This can only mean SW will live on forever and ever.

I'm so glad to know all the fans I met...you know who you are. Especially the Crew ((hugs))

Now...about my stumble into the Pacific. I want to clarify that Ami DID NOT, I repeat, DID NOT push me. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m318/lilliantorres/pacific.jpg
