Hello everyone. Since my return from CIV I have only written one short blog about my trip and time at the SW Celebration.
I really don't have much to say. I don't know what it is about me that no matter how I feel, unless I can't get out of bed, I wind up at work. Ha. I'm at work and I really don't want to work today therefore I'll just goof off a bit and what better place to do it at than here at the blogs. I really should have stayed home. At this moment I have a terrible cold...how could that be if today is the first day of summer and down here in Florida we've been feeling summer temperatures for the past 3 weeks and I get a cold. Germs everywhere I guess.
Everything I bought at CIV is stuck away in my storage facility. I can't gaze upon any of the posters I bought. I spent $150.00 on one of them (can't say I remember the author of said poster at this moment) and I can't look at it now. I am wearing the various T Shirts I had made to attend CIV. Where I work I dress very casual and I sometimes wear the tees I bought in LA...today I'm wearing my R2 & Leia (Nice Buns) T. I guess I am officially out of the closet and everyone who I encounter can see I'm a SW fan. I'm very proud of it.
I must say that my memories of CIV are very vivid in my mind and I thank you all especially Deej for keeping them even fresher with his accounts still coming up here at our friendly site, especially the pictures. And that youtube video of us ladies, priceless!!!! I really enjoyed meeting all I met...Sol K. (mi pana), Rainbow, Nobby & wife, Joe (sorry, it's easier than trying to remember your screen name), Stooge, Jawajoey, BrookG, g&w and my closer blogger friends who I still "talk" with through cyberspace but cannot touch physically. There will be another time! I guess I just miss everyone and the time we spent together laughing it up and running around. All you guys are awesome.
And my grandson, 3 yr old Youngling Ezequiel. Remember the child I always blogged about, my only "close to me" SW fan. Well you all know his family moved away to Lakeland but his Mom tells me his love of SW has not changed. That's the mark of a TRUE FAN. She bought him a "plug-in the TV" game set, the Darth Vader (mine is a R2-D2 plug-in that JediMelinda sent me when I won a raffle she set up last year). This means he has not forgotten all that I taught him about SW. Now that's great to hear.
O well...enough rambling...I'm off to McDonald's to get a hot cake breakfast. Just the hot cakes and a low fat milk. I just love McDonald's hot cakes and I sooooo deserve them with this cold hanging with me now..
MTFBWU ALL
P.S. The McQuarrie Chewbacca figures looks like a werewolf with no pants...it scares me!!!
