Years Matter Not (Gone Crazy...Be Back Soon)

My Review of Awake...Hubba Hubba
Everyone here knows I'm partial to Anakin Skywalker's character because I identify with his plight, his mistakes and his terrible decisions.

I also think the actor who portrayed him is quite a sight to see...even though I'm old enough to be his mother, (I have sons older than he is) but remember in my eyes years matter not and every once in a while a womans eyes need nourishment. HA!

AWAKE is a VERY short, fast paced drama with an eerie storyline. It's well acted, more or less, and has a twist that's definitely not expected.

I guess you can say the only reason I paid to see the movie and it is my only reason (vaya) is for its dramatic content.

I give it 3-1/2 Yodacons.

I keep seeing these headlines on my email site that say, "Jessica Alba film tanks at the box office," and I think...now if they were marketing it as a Hayden Christensen/Terrence Howard film, they might not be having box office issues."

I don't know if my stomach can handle that film in a theatre, but I will see it at some point!!

I'm glad you took a nice eye candy break, Lily!! :D :x

Out of 10?!?!?!!?? :p

I'm not too sure about this or his other movie, "Jumper".

Although I like both Jessica Alba and Terrence Howard... I don't know, maybe if I'm bored, I'll catch a matinee. :D

Or DVD... :p

Well, considering he has all the acting skills of a hunk of wood (he's a hunk, all right...get it? get it?), I doubt I'd find it to my liking. But maybe he's improved since AOTC...who knows. He certainly showed a big jump from that to ROTS...maybe this film will show further improvement.

There's always hoping, anyway... :)

I'm amazed that this movie got almost no opening -- I hear it's pretty good!

I was able to see this movie over the weekend and absolutely loved it (and not just because a certain actor was in it ;) )!! To me, the storyline was good, and the unexpected ending was great.

I've heard mixed reviews. I want to see it, I just have to make sure not to eat anything beforehand. I heard the operation gets pretty graphic. :O

Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the info. I keep hearing all sorts of mixed reviews! I really want to see this, but I have a feeling I simply won't have time to see it in the theater. :( I will definitely add it to my Netflix ASAP. ;)

I have not seen it. I like him enough as an actor to like what he would do besides Star Wars. I look forward to seeing it actually.

I may see it eventually myself, but any movie that gets shelved for two years worries me.
