The GFFA is a fictional world. Our beloved Star Wars Saga is not real even though we, diehard fans, wish or believe it could be so. Somehow our lives rotate around the saga and we find something of SW in every possible situation in our short journey here on earth. Me included.
I was thinking of Yoda's words "mourn them do not" "miss them to not". After Anakin/Darth Vader's emphacic "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" when he learned of Padme's death, the woman he couldn't live without and for her love he defied every Jedi principle, this non-conformist Jedi decided to take Yoda's advice and was easily distracted and seemed to immediately turn to conquering the Republic and making sure the New Empire would survive. All too short a grief span which is not possible down here in our world, the real world? Yet that is also the way of life here on Earth.
Anakin/Darth Vader was alive (maybe not too well physically) but he had to fulfill HIS destiny. Padme did her part and now it was up to him to hide behind his mask, be led by his best friend Palpatine into more darkness and little by little learn the meaning of real sacrifice when his son appeared to teach him.
So today I've been thinking about Anakin/DV and the SW Saga from the grief side or the lack of it, and realize that in this world just as in the GFFA your destiny will be fulfilled no matter what. Life goes on. Just another manner in which SW affects my thinking and sentiments.
