So, I've been on a Stover binge lately.
Its started with me finally ordering his Barra the Pict novels,
Iron Dawn and
Jericho Moon. Both are great reads. I've been a fan of his for awhile. Ever since I read
NJO: Traitor, I was hooked. I picked up
Heroes Die, and I was blown away
Anyways on to my point. I'm re-reading ROTS. There are scenes in that book that just give me chills. As good as the movie was, Stover's book makes it look like an idiot child. There is so much imagery and metaphor. My God, its the smartest SW novel ever.
Recently, Matt has expressed a desire to right the Big Three's last adventure. An now that the
Legacy Comics have been announced, I'm starting to think that such a book may not be too far fetched. If such a book occurs, Stover should be the one to write it.
I just saw the preveiws from the
Legacy Comics. I'm excited. Jan and John are a great creative team, Probably one of the best in comics today. I expect good things. Lets see: Pirates? Check. Jedi? check. Sith? check. Mandos? probably, given Cade Skywalker's tatoo.
All we need now is Ninjas. Ninja's and Pirates would be AWESOME!
The next month is going to be a good one. I've already preordered Triple Zero, and it should arrive around my birthday, or at least on my aniversary with my girlfriend! Anyways, I'm slowly becoming a clone/mandolorian fanboy. I've always liked 'em, but they really embody alot that I believe in. Ms. Traviss, You've made this fanboy's dreams come true: A soldier who writes Star Wars!

We had a sandstorm today. I sheltered a jedi knight from the storm, and offered him fruit. He did NOT offer to train me as a jedi....what a jerk.
MTFBWY!
