It finally happened. I'm starting to get excited about Celebration IV (CIV). And it happened at an unlikely place.
I purchased my 4-day pass on the day that they were available and reserved my room a couple of weeks later. I bought my plane tickets and got my vacation time approved so I am all set as far as that goes. I've already bought a bunch of autograph coupons and reserved my Quick Path time for the Star Wars shop. I even got a ticket to the movie marathon, although I won't be getting to LA until really late and may not be able to see any of the movies. I am completely set and ready to go.
Sunday, Master Mina wrote a
blog about how there were exactly 60 days until CIV. I didn't read it until Monday night while I was sitting at my desk waiting for overtime to end. I work for the company that makes the Star Wars slot machines and my job is to sit around and wait for the games to break during the assembly and testing process. Well, for the past couple of days, we have been building the original Star Wars games based on ANH, including all the music and sound effects. This is the only time that I'm able to experience these games because I can't play them once they hit the casino.

I was sitting on the line trying to work, but I couldn't concentrate because of all the music and effects. My job is really technical and takes a lot of concentration in order for me to do my job correctly.
I can't even do homework. I should be writing an essay for English, but instead I'm writing this blog.
See everyone at CIV.
Remember, the Force will be with you, always!
