Hello everyone. Back again for a new blog! I'm sure all of you sooooooo happy. And yes Italics is the closest to sarcasm you can get here.
So today I'm writing about a few things that have been bugging me. Actually two things and they both have to do with credits in the Republic.

"Republic credits?!? Republic credits are no good out here." Watto said to Qui-Gon. Well my question is this. If Tatooine did not use republic credits then what did they use. I know that they bet slaves and big things on races and things. But what if you were going to the store to buy some food? Would you bet your slave on this week's food? I think that they had to have some kind of currency. Watto probably didn't tell Qui-Gon this because he wanted to scam him. So my conculsion is this--Tatooine and other Outer Rim planets had their own form of currency. That is what I believe and I'm stickin' to it.

This one is more of a question that I'm sure we have all pondered. How much is a Republic Credit worth in American dollars? Or how much is an American dollar worth in Republic Credits? More or less? Just like Tootsie Pops, the world may never know.
