Today marks the big 30th Anniversary of the greatest film in cinematic history. These past few days have been very exciting for me, even though I could not attend CIV. I was recently awarded a full ride scholarship to college and I participated in final senior year activities today. But, the biggest thing for me was still Star Wars.

After school today I got a sheet of Star Wars Commemorative Stamps (they're really cool) and checked out the latest news online. I also took some time to reflect back on some of my more profound Star Wars memories. And even though this great movie turns 30 today I have only known it for the past 10 years.

Star Wars will live on and grow. This I know to be true because of the great love for this saga. Star Wars fans will never allow these movies to drift into oblivion. This what makes Star Wars so great, it transcends generations and still lives on stronger.
