The Rhyme of Boga
(For those who aren't familiar with Boga, she is the creature Obi Wan chose to ride while he battled with General Grievous. This is written from her POV.:))

My name is Boga, and I'm a varactyl.
My feet are five-clawed and my spines are quite cactal.*
My face is bird-like and my scales are green.
I have a beautiful crest, though I'm not one to preen.

My powerful tail is 10 meters long.
My muscular legs make me sturdy and strong.
But make no mistake: I'm a girl, not a guy.
On this particular day, my spirits are high.

My obedient commitment could be detected
by Obi Wan, and that's why he selected
Me to serve as his transportation,
and I accepted this task without hesitation.

As we travel along, I yelp out in joy
That this Jedi Master chose me to employ.
We swiftly clamber up to the tenth level
And that's when I got a chance to revel

In my rider's audacity, and casual air
as he drops behind Grievous and says, "Hello, there!"
This is when the battle begins.
I'm rooting for Obi Wan, hoping he wins.

Pretty soon, Grievous is on his wheel-bike:
Its plating is armored and its wheels are claw-like.
Obi Wan whistles for me to give him a ride
And soon thereafter, I'm running side-by-side

With this strange contraption, while the riders still fight.
I'm sorry to say that soon I lost sight
Of Obi Wan when Grevious' bike he mounted
and left me behind as if I never counted.

When my rider returned, we quickly moved on.
I guess I'll assume General Grievous is gone.
He gave orders to Cody once we rode through the fray:
"We've got a battle to win here!" And we were on our way.

I heard blasting behind me, and that's when I fell.
This mission definitely wasn't going as well
as I hoped, and I loudly yelped all the way down
to the water where I'd eventually...

(I think you can guess what the last word is, but I'm still in denial, hoping Boga survived.

*cactal - Allied to the cactuses (O.E.D.); cactus-like;)
