The Rhymes of Gav and Jori Daragon (Rhyme I of IV)

The Sith Empire was going through a very crucial time.
Marka Ragnos died; the opportunity was prime

for Sith like Naga Sadow and his rival, Ludo Kressh
to crown themselves as Lord; and take the Empire afresh.

Ragnos was entombed upon the world of Korriban.
This is the same planet Gav and Jori landed on.

Right there by the grave, the Sith engaged in altercation.
The Daragons arrived during this awful confrontation.

The two barely survived their headlong plunge through hyperspace
And here they found themselves amidst a Sith Lord power race.

In spite of this, they'd reached their goal: a new route they had made
But the Sith just weren't interested in having peaceful trade.

To the Sith Lords the Republic was a distant memory
And Ludo Kressh suspected Gav and Jori immediately.

He figured Gav and Jori were precursors to invasion
But to Sadow their arrival was a wonderful occasion.

To Sadow, the Republic was a new world to defeat;
More territory over which the Sith Lords could compete.

He felt that the Republic, as an outside enemy
Would meld the factions of the Sith Empire easily.

The Sith Lords formed a council so that they'd evaluate
Gav and Jori Daragon and specify their fate.

They didn't confer long before they reached a resolution:
Our brother-sister team has been sentenced to execution!
