My Second Encounter with a SW Comic Book
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!:D

I just got back from the comic book store:D:D:Dwhere I dropped precisely $124.56:p, and I had my second encounter with a SW comic book!

Actually, it wasn't only one SW comic, but it was a whole slew of them. And the problem was that there were separate volumes of everything, which kind of drove me up the wall. Don't get me wrong...I actually appreciate it when reading material is divided into bite-size portions, but in the end, I am going to want the whole meal!

Just in case you missed the meaning of the analogy: If there is a storyline which is divided into, say, 8 different trade paperbacks, I don't mind having it in 8 peices as long as all 8 are available to me. But if volume I, III, V, and VII are the only ones available, it is a turn-off, and I won't want to read any of it at all.

Comic books are similar to soap-operas in the sense that if you miss one episode, for the most part you'll be clueless for the episode which follows.

Therefore, I searched for a SW comic which was a one-shot deal. Would you believe that even as I browsed through the "one-shot deals" they made reference to another storyline?! I didn't purchase those because I felt like I needed the other storyline as well. However, I'm pleased to announce that I finally found one that seemed like it truly stands alone. It is called Jabba the Hutt: The Art of the Deal. It seems like quite an interesting read!

Here's
what the photo looks like.

Additionally, a number of people seemed to be interested in Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand, so in case you're looking to purchase it, here's what it looks like.

Just to divert a little bit from SW, I notice that a number of SW fans are also Batman fans. So am I!!!:D I own far more Batman things than SW things, but as far as the recent movie is concerned, here's what I have:

Batman Begins: The Visual Guide

Batman Begins: The Official Movie Guide

and today, I purchased

Batman Begins: Action Cape Batman:D:D:D

The final treat of the evening was that I met a lady on the train whose name is Vada...but the first "a" is long, so it actually sounds like "Vader!"

Excellent!B-)

Thank you for joining me, ladies and gentlemen. It's been a pleasure.:)

*hugs and kisses*
