Upon my completion of The "Eyes" Have It, a fellow poster requested that I do an entry about "the feet of SW," so here it is.

Fancy Feet

Yoda has cute little tridactyl feet! So do tauntauns!

Boga's five-clawed feet provide excellent purchase!

Eloms have calloused skin on their feet.


Acklays actually walk on hypertrophied fingertips, which form huge claws.

The feet of the Nexu have a primary claw for attacking prey and a secondary claw for gripping treetrunks.

The Reek's front claws are for digging wood-moss.

Rystall had hooves, as does the Rancor Monster (although his hooves are chubbier.)

The Kaminoans have very small feet which are adapted to the Kaminoan seabeds.

Poggle the Lesser's toe structure allowed him to cling to rock crags.

The powerful footclaws of Geonosian Soldier Drones allow them to go into stasis hanging from projections. The soldier's feet, along with the feet of his transport, the Orray, can be seen in this pic.

Watto has webbed feet.

Dexter Jettster, the Chef's feet.

General Grievous's feet.

Massif's feet.

And of course, Wookies and Ewoks and Wampas have furry little feet.



Droid Feet

The strap-on foot tips of Super Battle Droids can be replaced with claws or pads suited to different terrain.

The feet of the MagnaGuards have a repair hatch, and their heel can extend for greater stability.

C-3PO had a salvaged foot shell on his right foot, and a reinforced foot shell on his left.

R2-D2 has locomotion power cells and powerbus cables, and sensory impulse cables on his feet. His third foot is retractable.

Tri-Droid feet.

AT-AT feet.

AT-RT feet.
