Good evening, all!
Allow me to begin by saying that CGI Yoda is truly a marvel!

Although I appreciated puppet Yoda as well, the puppet wasn't capable of the full-range of expression, or maneuverability, of his computer-aided counterpart.
Did you notice the way Yoda handled his would-be assassins on Kashyyk? It only required one fluid motion on his part to take out both of them.

It was very intuitive of him to sense the exact moment when the incursion threatened his person (many jedi did not), and to time his defense so precisely.
Yoda also did a fine job with Sidious's guards; force-pushing them against the wall as he made his entrance.

As regards the critically-acclaimed battle itself, Yoda was just as excellent as he was in AOTC! How about this line:
"If you're so powerful, why leave?" That's one of my favorite quotes in ROTS -- it shows just how sassy Yoda is capable of being!
Tears almost came to my eyes when Yoda radioed Bail Organa for well-timed transport. His body-language: the way he crawled to safety, and the look on Yoda's face was more than I could bear! He seemed desperate-- almost fearful!

I am not accustomed to seeing my little green sweetheart in such a vulnerable condition.
Additionally, when Yoda said:
"Failed, I have," his countenance was so dejected that I wanted to sit him on my lap and hug him and stroke the sparse hairs of his head and say:
"Yoda, sweetie: You didn't really fail. Since both you and Palpy are still alive, it's a tie!
Sidious had alot of nerve trying to fry you with force-lightning! Here, I'll accompany you to Dagobah, and we'll come up with a plan to defeat that nasty sonuva Sith!"
I wonder how Yoda would've reacted to something like that?
OK, I think I've done enough rambling on this particular topic. The bottom line is that CGI Yoda rocks! The only downside is that you can't cuddle with him the way you can do with the puppet...
G'bye, then!
*hugs and kisses*
