Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!
I've recently had a number of Star Wars related firsts, and in addition to those, I have a number of Star Wars related goals. I'd like to share with you the lists I've compiled of the top seven in each category.
My Star Wars Firsts
7. I won an
Adi Gallia with CommTech chip on eBay -- my very first Star Wars action figure!
6. I won
Darth Maul Shadow Hunter from eBay. I've begun reading this book and thus far, it's quite engaging! It's my very first Star Wars novel! I don't wish to devour it all in one gulp...I'll read it little by little and savor this account of my favorite Sith.
5. I won the
Clash of the Lightsabers from eBay -- my very first Star Wars card game! It's quite confrontational: Darth Maul and Qui Gon Jinn duel each other to the finish...and their respective fates are in the hands of the players!
4. I won the
Darth Maul Speeder Bike Bank on eBay -- my very first SW coin bank!
3. I won the
Darth Maul Gentle Giant statue on eBay -- my very first SW maquette!
2. I won the
Yoda Lego set on eBay -- my very first Lego set pertaining to that universe far, far away.
And last but not least...
1. I've reached my 90th blog entry on SW.com! Woo-hoo!!!
My Star Wars Goals
7. Either read the Star Wars eBooks I purchased, or read the same books in manual form. (I spent $40 on over 20 NJO eBooks, and still haven't read them.

)
6. Do an all-day marathon and watch all the movies in order. (Would you believe I've never done this before?)
5. Reach my goal of 100 Hyperspace Blog entries!
4. Get my hands on a Darth Vader coin bank. Not the kind that lights up and speaks -- just the ordinary plastic representation of the helmet with a coin slot.
3. Find out more about Darth Maul. I guess I'll start investigating and accumulating all the novels, TPBs, etc. which might assist me in this endeavor. If anyone has info on Lord Maul's background (his relatives; his mysterious past), please feel free to leave a comment.
2. Construct my own Adi Gallia headdress. It's only since I purchased the Chronicles to the prequels that I've gotten an idea of what her headgear looks like from behind -- and now it seems even more difficult to reproduce!
And last but not least...
1. Figure out how the 1138 code works with the Star Wars DVDs. When I'm at the options menu on any of the six films, I'll enter the code and then (on my big TV) the numbers will appear on the top lefthand corner of the screen, but then absolutely nothing happens! On my small TV, I only succeed in changing the channel. What's up with that?
Thanks for sticking around; you've been great! (And no, I'm NOT an eBay addict!

)
*love & hugs*
