SW: First Encounter

Hi everybody!

Long time no blog!

I am currently working on the art of telling a whole story in 100 words or less. I've decided to apply this evdeavor to my blog; thus, here's an abbreviated account of how I came into contact with the saga, and what I thought:

SW: First Encounter (Word Count: 100)

Our first taste of SW at 8 yrs. of age: my fellow day-campers and I barely comprehend the movie before us. Most fidget restlessly...converse privately...share snacks...ignore the film. But my eyes are glued intently to the screen.

The masked man frightens me; I grasp my friend's hand. Dressed in black and very asthmatic, he's in charge because he knows magic. His name stuck in my mind: "Vader." Afterward, I asked around about Vader. Nobody knew much. My friends weren't fans. "When I grow up, I'll learn more," I promised.

Now, 21 years later, I embrace Vader's legacy.

well for me I have seen starwars my whole life.
when I was little(still baby)my father(when he lived with us) bringed the movies home and I watch them.(maybe thats the reason wy I like starwars too much, because I have seen it all my life)
but when I ask my friends no one of them have never seen ep. 4, 5 and 6 they allways say to me that, that movies doesn`t exist.

It was cool of your father to watch SW with you when you were little...it's a great saga to grow up with!

And as for your friends, you'll have to lend them the DVDs of the OT so they can believe they really exist.

I actually found the Primera Hora on eBay, but not the one that deals with Star Wars...I found the one that deals with the World Trade Center.

But I'll certainly keep an eye out for it.

Wow Tee! That's an extremely creative idea! It's almost like a variation of poetry. I know for me it's extremely hard to write within length constraints...last year in AP Language we had to do research papers. Everyone else was trying to bring their papers up to the minimum...and I was trying to bring mine UNDER the maximum. Am I weird or do you have the same difficulty?
And how funny is that pic?!!!

I know for me it's extremely hard to write within length constraints...last year in AP Language we had to do research papers. Everyone else was trying to bring their papers up to the minimum...and I was trying to bring mine UNDER the maximum. Am I weird or do you have the same difficulty?

No, you're not weird, you're probably just a very deep person and tend to express yourself in detail. Am I right?

As for me, it depends on my mood...sometimes I'm very abbreviated, and at other times you can't get me to shutup.

And how funny is that pic?!!!

the only way I am suscribed to starwars is because my mother works on a library and I use the library`s computers.if it werent because of that I would have never entered starwars.com
and to the post you did no there are no periodico of that in this library thats why I asked you.
