It's nice that TESB is mentioned since it was not until TESB that Steve decided to become the avid collector he has been all these years.

In an interview published in 1988 he said "TESB got to me emotionally on a different level. It was fun and fascinating, but it also had an emotional element and a certain darkness to it that added another dimension to the movie which was unexpected. [...] [A]fter seeing TESB, I made a point to go back and fill in my Star Wars collection, to seriously try and collect all the material I could get."
